Overview

My first job out of college was at Amazon as a Software Engineer. I worked on the Returns & Recommerce Repair team, which handles repairs for certain Amazon customer returns.

High value items like TVs, refrigerators, etc. would go through our repair process so that we could relist the item as used and recover some of the item value.

Role

I worked on a few projects during my time at Amazon, the most important one being a major migration in how we model items in the repair lifecycle. Given the way systems were designed, this was a large-scale migration and I facilitated the migration rollout to Mexico, Canada, and Europe.

I worked directly with Amazon warehouse staff and third party repair partners as the technical glue.
