Overview

Shrigma is an AI Slackbot assistant to handle niche tasks for me that would never exist in a typical product.

For example, the assistant can give me realtime updates on the bart and Caltrain schedules (so I stop missing my train), or update me when I have delivery subscriptions renewing (like Huel).

Motivation

There's value in consolidating common tasks in one place, especially under a low-friction interface like a chatbot.

I originally had this idea because I kept missing the Bart, because it was too much cognitive effort to look up the Bart website and then select the station on the website to view realtime departures.

I think eventually we will have deep AI integrations like this to handle common everyday tasks, but in the meantime, I am building my niche tasks into my own bot!
